I am officially done with my Christmas shopping! I was pretty much done last weekend, but I still needed Josh's present. I still need to finish crocheting some stuff for people though. I made the pom poms for the hats I'm making my nephews. They looks so adorable now. I am going to try to tackle crocheting mittens. I'm not sure how that will go.
Tomorrow and Sunday I have to work 2:30-11, I think I'd rather stab myself in the eye.
I have to go pick up Josh at work. This will be the third time today I've gone to Mayfair.
I'm really glad it's Christmas break, but I still don't feel completely relieved. I really, really want to get the jump on thesis. I have totally changed my illustration style this semester and I want to get as much time to work on it as possible.

It's weird being home. I like being in Rockford because I like the familiarity of everything. But after being in my own apartment I hate staying at my house. It makes me really uneasy about after MIAD. I haven't figured out grad school and stuff. I really don't want to live at home.
Josh had to work at 5:30am on Friday. I had to work at 5:00pm. So we headed back Thursday night after eating and everything. I thought I had to work both Saturday and Sunday but it turned out I didn't have to because it would have meant I worked 3 weekends in a row.
I'm getting sick and I feel horrible. It's nice that I didn't really have much homework over break. I have animation to work on still, but that isn't due until Wednesday. I do need to read over my notes for the animator test we are having tomorrow. I've been working on a painting for my illustration seminar open project. Not sure how much longer I'll work though because I'm feeling really dizzy.
Ugh, I hate being sick.

So I picked up Twilight Princess and Super Monkey Ball. The Wii is so incredibly fun. I think I might quit school and just play it professionally. Because then I wouldn't have to take a break from Twilight Princess to do homework.

So Josh and I were at a red light and some lady came to the window of our car. My first thought was "Oh god, a crazy lady." However, she was there to inform us that our tire was flat. So we stopped off at a gas station and indeed, it was very flat. We got some Fix-A-Flat stuff, but it didn't do any good. We were near the KIA dealership where we had gotten our tire fixed a couple weeks ago (that's right, two flat tires in a matter of a month...)
They didn't have the tire our car needs so they are going to order it. They put the spare on and said they'd call on Monday. This really stinks, I'm not very excited about it.
The people camping out for the PS3 were really funny to watch yesterday at work, especially when the cops came because they were causing trouble. Two days until the Wii! Now to get animation done and get working on illustration so Sunday is completely free of homework.

Dang, all these great DS games come out but I don't want to buy games right now because of the Wii coming out. But I really want Final Fantasy III and Elite Beat Agents and Yoshi's Island 2. But I know if I buy them then I won't play them as soon as the Wii comes out, which is in a week.
I guess I'll just wait until my excitement for the Wii has died down and then pick up a game.

10 months later
So I have neglected my trusty old livejournal for far too long.
School has been really busy. Everything is scary now that we are entering into the real world of freelance illustration. I have a whole class teaching me how to be more businessy-learning about taxes and stuff. It's scary, but exciting at the same time. I think Illustration is something I really want to do and it will be a lot of fun.
I also like the idea of being able to do illustration with nothing else to do. Trying to juggle all my classes and work is just getting to me. I only have classes three days a week yet I always feel so tired. It's because animation is sucking the life out of me this semester. It's slowly killing me.
The Wii comes out in a little over a week. I am so excited. I only wish I didn't have to work that day, because I had all these exciting plans where I played WiiSports and Twilight Princess all day long. But I guess I will have to settle for the afternoon on into the night.
I need some time to play video games more. I have neglected Oblivion for months. Josh and I finally got a 360 over the summer and all I ever play on it are some of the Xbox Live Arcade games. And only because I can play them for like 10 minutes before having to do something.
I cannot wait for Christmas break.

So I guess you can still have snow days in college! Animation was cancelled today. I got an e-mail at 3:00 saying all classes for the rest of the day were cancelled.
So the weekend started earlier than I expected, and I definitely don't mind. I've been getting sick all week and I feel really crappy. I woke up fifteen minutes late for work today and had to run over there really quickly. I've felt like crap since then-my head has been killing me.
I don't have any homework this weekend. I'm going to try to work on the animation projects and maybe some Illustration, but nothing is actually due Monday or Tuesday. I plan on sleeping and hanging out a lot this weekend and just getting better.
It makes me laugh a lot that younger Pete is in this Wendy's commercial. Ahh, Pete and Pete...

's post made me go back and check Kent's post. I realized that I had also been tagged for this crazy 5 simple pleasures thing. I also would normally not fill out something like this, but it is something to keep me procrastinating.
5 Simple Pleasures
1. The Ricky Gervais Show podcast
Man, I've never had so much fun in Illustration class. Josh gave me the mp3 during class and for the next half hour I sat at my studio laughing. You should all enjoy the wonder that is The Ricky Gervais Show
2. Animal Crossing: Wild World
This game is definitely the best for the DS. It is amazing that I can spend hours just fishing... Plus the ability to go online just adds to much to it!
3. The Food Network
Nothing makes me feel as fullfilled and happy and watching the Food Network.
4. Christmas break in like a week
I am definitely never taking 19 credit hours again, and the fact that this is almost done is so amazing.
5. The Splash Mountain Theme
This song is amazing...
And Josh refered everyone I would... well, I'll cheat and double refer themnotoriouscdb

Why does Target rule? Because they allowed me to purchase Home Movies Season 3 tonight, Saturday November 12, 2005.
Thank you Target.
This DVD is amazing.
So we went to Target to pick up some stuff, and I bought yet another candle. We now have 4 candles all of which are various scents of pumpkin pie or chai tea. So I lit them all when we got back and Josh found that the plant was becoming charred and was smoking...
Hooray for me lighting my plant on fire...
